Idol team of producers, judges and hosts scoured Australia
for outstanding talent.
Beginning in Adelaide on May 28, thousands of hopefuls
auditioned and the Idol team were handsomely rewarded
with an enormous pool of potential contestants, all vying
for a place in the Idol history books.

Australian Idol is a 17-week reality program which seeks
to find Australia's newest singing superstar.

auditioned for the program during the nationwide search
in capital cities.
